What would you like to talk about?

Are there any biblical topics you would like for me to look up?  Especially topics related to Catholic Doctrine.  Let me know and I’ll turn your suggestion into a future post.

      Thanks Lorry. I’ll write an article about it. Just a quick answer for you, right now, though. There are two lines of thought on the question.

      1st, they are the children of angels who left their post in heaven to marry the beautiful women of earth. God punished them for abandoning their post and chained them. They will be released in the endtimes.

      2nd, they are the children of the line of Seth mixed with the Line of Cain. The line of Seth would be the Sons of God. The line of Cain, of course, would be the line which resulted after Cain was exiled.

      I favor the 1st, because St. Peter mentions the angels who were punished in his epistle:

      2 Peter 2:4New American Bible (Revised Edition) (NABRE)

      Lessons from the Past. 4 [a]For if God did not spare the angels when they sinned, but condemned them to the chains of Tartarus[b] and handed them over to be kept for judgment;

      Footnotes:

      2:4–6 The false teachers will be punished just as surely and as severely as were the fallen angels (2 Pt 2:4; cf. Jude 6; Gn 6:1–4
